Introduction to the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines
We are the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) in the Philippines, a non-profit institution committed to promoting educational and cultural exchange between Taiwan and the Philippines. Our center was established in response to the growing global demand for international academic collaboration and cross-cultural understanding.
As part of a broader initiative by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) has been designated as the host institution of the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines. Serving as a bridge between the two nations, we work to enhance the international visibility of Taiwan’s higher education system and Mandarin language programs while providing timely and relevant information and services to Philippine students and academic institutions.
We offer guidance on study opportunities in Taiwan, ranging from degree programs to short-term academic experiences, and provide consultation services tailored to the needs of Philippine students. In collaboration with partner schools, we also design and deliver Mandarin language programs that align with shared educational goals.
In addition, we organize seminars, forums, and collaborative events to promote research partnerships, faculty and student exchanges, and deeper institutional engagement between Taiwan and the Philippines. Looking ahead, we will continue building a dynamic, multicultural academic community.
